Year of Breath

Year of Breath is a private, premium newsletter and community to give you mindful moments every single week.

Each Sunday, Year of Breath will appear in your inbox with a breath prayer & reflection prompt.

  • It’s low pressure: You’ll have all week to integrate the short prayer into your days.

  • You’ll have all week to ponder a simple but thought-provoking mindful meditation rooted in the deep love of Christ.

  • You’ll get access to all previous Year of Breath editions.

  • Each week follows a reflective theme relevant to your life. You’ll get things like breath prayers, prompts, weekly playlists, reflection questions, Scripture, phone wall paper, and more.

  • And you’ll have a community, guided personally by me, to return to for intentional connection and accountability.

What's Inside Year of Breath:

  • Weekly Breath Prayers: A curated collection of breath prayers that provide peace and connection. Inspired by Scripture, each breath prayer is created to guide you through moments of stillness and mindfulness.

  • Prompts for Reflection: Thoughtfully crafted prompts (journal them, talk them out with a friend or spouse, use them in prayer) accompany each breath prayer. As we journey through the year, I hope you gain insights into your faith journey and can cultivate gentle rhythms of faith, even in your busy season of life.

  • Exclusive Book Content: As a subscriber to Year of Breath, you'll be part of my go-to community as I pray and prepare for my next book. You and your stories will color the contours of book three. You have a front-row seat to a very low-pressure focus group if you want it. Maybe you can help me settle on a title or book cover. I’m hopeful some Zoom chats might be in our future, too.

  • Connect Spiritually: Join a community of like-minded individuals on a shared journey. Experience the profound connection that comes from engaging in a collective, year-long exploration of breath prayers.

  • Guidance: I’m certainly not an expert, but I love cultivating connection and community, and I’m a busy parent right alongside you. I hope to gently guide us through the transformative power of breath prayers in the thick of raising kids in our weary world.
